BASIS PROMPT Registered Pest Controller

MSE Pest Control’s technician is on the BASIS PROMPT register of trained pest controllers who keep their skills up to date. How to check.

What is BASIS PROMPT?

BASIS PROMPT is an independent professional register for pest controllers, run by BASIS Registration Ltd. It is an industry initiative that gives independent proof that a pest controller has received proper professional training and keeps their expertise up to date. The scheme is supported by bodies including the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH), the British Pest Control Association (BPCA) and the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA).

PROMPT is a register of individual people, not companies. MSE Pest Control’s technician is a registered member.

What does registration require?

What it means for you

Pest control can involve professional-use products and techniques that need to be handled by competent people. A PROMPT registered technician has not only qualified, but is also proving every year that they are keeping up with changes in health and safety, legislation and environmental best practice. That is why you will see “BASIS PROMPT” and the current year on our credentials.

How to check

BASIS runs a free public search called PROMPT Verified, where anyone can check that a pest controller is suitably qualified and keeping up to date. Search by the pest controller’s name or company at basis-prompt.co.uk/prompt-verified. Members only appear if they have agreed to share their details, so you can also ask us to see our current membership card. More about the scheme: basis-prompt.co.uk/about-prompt.
