BPCA Member: British Pest Control Association

MSE Pest Control Ltd is a BPCA member. Find out what British Pest Control Association membership means and how to check it for yourself.

What is the BPCA?

The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) is the professional association for the UK public health pest management industry. It is a not-for-profit organisation that represents, supports and assures more than 700 member companies across the UK.

What does membership require?

BPCA Servicing membership is for pest control companies, not individuals, and applicants have to show they meet strict membership criteria before they are accepted. BPCA states that its member companies:

Membership runs year by year, and the right to use the BPCA Member logo stops if membership lapses.

What it means for you

When you choose a BPCA member, you are choosing a company that has been assessed against an independent standard, not just one that says it is professional. It means the people treating your home or business are trained, insured and expected to follow industry best practice, with a recognised trade body behind them.

BPCA also tells customers that its member logo has to be earned, so it’s worth checking any contractor actually displays it.

How to check

You can look up BPCA members using the association’s own search tool at bpca.org.uk/find-a-pest-controller. You can read more about the association at bpca.org.uk/about-bpca. If you would like to see our current membership certificate, just ask when you call.
